Changes soon in Kasauli Planning Area regulations
Shimla, January 20
The Himachal Pradesh Government proposes to make amendments to the Kasauli Planning Area regulations so as to protect trees and forests.
The Department of Town and Country Planning has invited objections and suggestions for the proposed amendments to Chapter 17 of the Kasauli Planning Area regulations in 30 days.
As per these amendments, no construction would be allowed within a radius of 2 metres from the existing trees and 5 metres from the forest boundary measured from the circumference of an existing tree.
