The National Gallery of Australia has announced it would return 14 works of art from its Asian collection to India. Hailing the development, Minister of State for Culture Meenakshi Lekhi thanked PM Narendra Modi for efforts to recover India’s lost heritage.

“I thank the PM for the concerted efforts due to which 14 stolen Indian heritage objects are being repatriated,” she said. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
