CRPF DG, Adviser to MHA test negative for Covid
New Delhi: CRPF chief AP Maheshwari, Senior Security Adviser in the Union Home Ministry K Vijay Kumar, CRPF Additional Director General (Ops) Sanjay Arora, DIG Sunil Joon and 12 other officers have tested negative for Covid, said an official, adding that all of them had come in contact of an infected CRPF doctor. Jamiat moves SC over ‘demonising Muslims’
New Delhi: Islamic body Jamiat-Ulma-i-Hind on Monday moved the Supreme Court seeking directions to the government and the media not to demonise the Muslim community over the spread of Covid-19 due to Nizamuddin Markaz congregation. Rajasthan officer on outstanding cops’ list

Consult parties, PM urged
New Delhi: CPI chief D Raja on Monday asked PM Narendra Modi to hold consultations with heads of parties at national and state level to find ways to fight Covid-19. In a letter to Modi, Raja referred to former’s interaction with CMs on April 2 and also with experts, and his proposed interaction with parliamentary floor leaders of parties on April 8. TNS
