New Delhi, May 19

Expressing concern over the working conditions of the subordinate judiciary, the Delhi High Court on Wednesday said the government should consider declaring them as frontline workers owing to the nature of their duties.

The HC said three judicial officers had already died after contracting the virus in the national capital.

“In the Supreme Court and High Court, we hold constitutional positions. Our protocols are different but that is not the case of the subordinate judiciary,” a Bench said. — PTI
