New Delhi: The ED on Monday said it had begun questioning jailed political leaders from Uttar Pradesh, including SP MP Azam Khan, BSP MLA Mukhtar Ansari and strongman Atiq Ahmad, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in separate cases. Officials in the agency said, the ED initiated the action after obtaining permission from special courts that try cases against those booked under the PMLA. TNS
