Fighting measles, Maldives gets Indian vaccine respite
New Delhi, January 23
Responding swiftly to Maldives’ request, the Centre provided 30,000 doses of measles and rubella (MR) vaccine to the Indian Ocean country to combat measles outbreak, the Ministry of External Affairs.
The two sides have also begun the implementation of the MoU on health cooperation signed during Modi’s Maldives visit in June last year to build on the existing extensive cooperation. — TNS
