New Delhi: Thespian Sanjna Kapoor has been awarded the French honour of Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres’ (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) for her outstanding contribution to theatre. Kapoor, who runs the Mumbai-based theatre company ‘Junoon’, was felicitated by Franck Riester, the French Minister of Culture, who was on a state visit to India. Born to Bollywood star Shashi Kapoor and British actor Jennifer Kendal, Kapoor (52) debuted as an actor in Aparna Sen’s “36 Chowringhee Lane” (1981). PTI
Into the wild: Actor Rajinikanth with Bear Grylls. Discovery has signed the actor for the first episode of the new format series ‘Into The Wild with Bear Grylls’. Rajinikanth is the second Indian, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to feature in Bear Grylls iconic show, Man vs Wild. PTI
