Fugitive gangster Vikas Dubey is a Covid suspect as one of his aide who hosted him in Faridabad has tested positive for coronavirus.

Shravan, a resident of new Indira colony, Sector 87, Faridabad, is a relative of Dubey and had hosted him in his house. He was arrested along with son Ankur and sent to judicial custody. It was during testing by jail authorities that Shravan tested positive.

"We have got test results and he is Covid positive. All requisite health protocols will be followed," said OP Singh, CP, Faridabad.

This has put entire team of Faridabad police and UP STF involved in arresting accused and taken to local court at the risk of being quarantined. The CP said "standard protocol is being followed".
