Ganguly undergoes angioplasty again

Out on morning walk, TDP leader murdered
Hyderabad: A Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader was reportedly hacked to death by unidentified persons in the district headquarters town of Jangaon in Telangana on Thursday, the police said. Puli Swamy, 53, a former councillor of the Jangaon Municipality, was attacked by two men wielding axes while he was on a morning walk. Jangaon is around 85 km from Hyderabad. An old rivalry over a land dispute is said be have led to the murder. — TNS
ORF ranked among 20 global think tanks
New Delhi: India’s Observer Research Foundation (ORF) has been ranked 20th among 174 top think tanks worldwide, and eighth among non-US bodies, says a report. The 2020 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report, by the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP) of the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, ranked ORF at the 20th position, up from 27th previous year. It moved up from the 118th position. — TNS
