New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday gave interim bail for a month to Unitech promoter Sanjay Chandra, who is facing criminal cases in connection with his company’s failure to deliver flats to homebuyers. A Bench led by Justice DY Chandrachud granted him interim bail on the ground that his parents had been diagnosed with Covid-19. The Bench, however, denied a similar relief to his younger brother Ajay Chandra, who is also in jail in connection with the case in which Chandra had been in jail for almost three years. TNS
