On a Sunday, Commissioner of Kanpur Raj Shekhar cooked “poha” and shared a picture of him on Twitter doing so from his kitchen.
But the scrutinizing social media users were amused to see that as the Commissioner cooked “poha” he did so without lighting his gas burner. And what then, the social media was quick to mock Shekhar, even though some users came to his defense, pointing out that the gas may have been turned off after the poha was cooked.
Who cooks in suit ???

BTW gas needs to be lit...
Why are people talking about invisible flame when the poha is already cooked. He could be just fixing extra salt or something.

"Please wish me good luck. Trying my luck in cooking...Preparing the poha for the breakfast under guidance of Home Minister [sic]," the Commissioner of Kanpur wrote while sharing the pic, which shows him wearing earphones and smiling for the camera while holding a spatula.
Please wish me Good Luck.

Also thank you for sending a strong message to the government for making cooking gas so unaffordable that cooking can be done without it, the heat instead of the stove comes from collective anger. 😄
