Ludhiana gold dacoity mastermind held

Tejinder Singh, alias Teja, the mastermind behind the recent gold dacoity in Ludhiana was arrested on Monday. He allegedly committed the crime to mobilise funds for carrying out targeted killings as part of a pro-Khalistan agenda to disturb peace in the state.
Teja belongs to Mehadpur village in Balachaur.
DGP Dinkar Gupta said a set of Punjab Police uniform and an identity card of the Seema Suraksha Bal (SSB) were seized from Teja, which he planned to use to gain access to various restricted areas. A Chinese 30 calibre pistol, 10 cartridges and a Chevrolet Optra car were also seized from him.
Teja disclosed he was radicalised and instigated to carry out targeted killings by some terrorists whom he met in various prisons. inside
