Maoists blow up 12 buildings in Jharkhand

Twelve buildings of the Jharkhand forest department were blown up by suspected Maoists in West Singhbhum district, the police said on Sunday.
According to SP Indrajeet Mahatha, a group of Maoists barged into the buildings in the Berkela forest area on Saturday night and asked all staffers to vacate the premises.
Several employees were also beaten up by the miscreants and warned against informing the police. The Naxals then blew up the buildings with IEDs, he added. PTI
