MEA seeks Indian lawyer for Jadhav

New Delhi: India has again insisted that Kulbhushan Jadhav should be represented by an Indian lawyer for filing a review petition against his death sentence in Pakistan, said Anurag Srivastava, spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). “On this issue, we are in touch with Pakistan through diplomatic channels,” he said. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
