MHA allows bookstores to open

New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday allowed opening of shops selling educational books and electric fans. In its order, it said public utilities, including recharge facilities for prepaid mobile phones, would also be allowed to open. Bedsides, attendants of senior citizens will be allowed to offer their services. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
