Militant gunned down in Shopian

Srinagar: An unidentified militant was killed in an ongoing operation in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday, the police said. The militant was killed in a joint operation which was launched by security forces at 3.45 pm on input about militant presence near Molu Chitragam, Shopian. “So far one militant has been killed in the operation,” a police officer said, adding the operation was in progress.
