Vice-President and Chairman of Rajya Sabha M Venkaiah Naidu on Monday said MPs have an important role in addressing public health challenges such as tuberculosis, though India has made significant progress on various health indicators since Independence. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) organised a sensitising meeting for the MPs in the Parliament House Annexe to solicit their cooperation and support towards ending TB in India by 2025.
