New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will formally launch a series of events virtually from New Delhi on Friday. This will include unfurling of National Flag at 75 places to commemorate 75 years of Independence. The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) will unfurl the National Flag at 75 places. The most prominent among them is Umling La ‘a pass’, which is the highest motorable road in the world at 19,300 ft, in Eastern Ladakh. The Indian Army will launch expeditions to scale 75 mountain passes to mark this momentous occasion. TNS
