New Air Force Chief VR Chaudhari promises to enhance operational capabilities

Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari on taking over as Chief of the Indian Air Force (IAF) said enhancement of operational capability through integration of newly inducted platforms, weapons and equipment with existing assets would remain a priority area.

He succeeds Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria following his retirement.
Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari said, “India’s sovereignty and integrity will be protected at any cost.”
He spoke on aspects of acquisition of new technology, promotion of indigenisation and innovation, strengthening of cyber security, rapid adaptation of training methods to meet future demands and sustained work to nurture human resources.
He added he had faith in the IAF’s ability to accomplish assigned tasks.
