The anti-terror federal probe agency NIA today said it has made the seventh arrest in connection with the killing of tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur last month. The arrested person has been identified as Farhad Mohammad Sheikh.
A spokesperson of the NIA said that Sheikh, alias Babla, who was arrested on Saturday evening, was a “close criminal associate” of Riaz Akhtari, one of the two main accused in the case, and took active part in the conspiracy to kill the tailor. Kanhaiya Lal was killed with a cleaver in his tailoring shop on June 28.
