Hhyderabad: Sanitiser used to disinfect against Covid-19 has led to the death of nine persons in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. Taking it to be a substitute for alcohol, the nine victims consumed it by mixing it with water and cold drinks. The police said social media videos with individuals propagating drinking of alcohol as a treatment for Covid could have influenced the victims. — TNS
