New Delhi, September 2
Former Law Minister Ashwani Kumar today condemned the National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP) project, saying it was tailor-made for rent-seeking and would lead to transfer of taxpayer-funded assets to a handful of business groups.
“India’s national assets valued at Rs 6 lakh crore and created over the past 67 years are sought to be squandered away through the project,” he told the media in Chennai today.
