The government today issued fresh guidelines stipulating that air passengers would not be served any meal inside flights having duration of less than two hours. The Ministry of Civil Aviation said the step had been taken keeping in view the surge in cases. It said the ban would come into effect from Thursday. Airlines are permitted to serve only pre-packed snacks, meals and pre-packed beverages on flights that have duration of more than two hours. — TNS
