NSG takes over Ahmedabad airport

-The Ahmedabad airport has been handed over to the NSG. Official sources said NSG commandos would maintain a round-the-clock vigil of the airport complex till the departure of the US President and his entourage.

-The US Globe Master – 3, which has the capacity to carry over 600 tonnes of cargo, landed at the Ahmedabad airport on Wednesday afternoon, carrying electronic devices and other material to be used by the US Secret Service

-Hercules – 2, also carrying security devices, had reached Ahmedabad a couple of days ago. The bullet and missile-proof car in which Trump would be travelling to Sabarmati Ashram and back to airport has already arrived in the city
