New Delhi/Ludhiana, August 4
National Testing agency on Thursday laid out a public notice regarding postponement of first shift CUET (UG) entrance exam at few test centres scheduled for August 4. The agency has pointed out administrative and technical reasons for this adjourn. The exam will now take place on August 12.
Further, the question paper for second shift of exam was uploaded at 5 pm against scheduled time which was 3pm. Based on the recommendations of coordinators and observers, the second shift got cancelled across all centres and will now be conducted between 12 to 14 August 2022.
Candidates appearing for the second phase in Ludhiana had harrowing experience as the exam, which was scheduled at 3pm didn’t start on time. Students called their parents by borrowing phones from exam centres, complaining of headache and other health issues. They entered the centre at 1:20pm and had to wait for hours only to get informed at last that the exam had been cancelled. Many of the girl students had come from places like doraha, Jagraon etc.
The same admit card will be valid for the concerned candidates whose examination have been postponed.
