One more Covid-19 death in Rajasthan

Jaipur, May 24

One patient died of Covid-19 in Chittorgarh, while 52 new positive cases surged in parts of Rajasthan on Sunday morning.

The fatality toll increased to 161, while the tally of total cases went up to 6,794.

Jaipur and Ajmer reported 18 new cases each, Dungarpur and Nagaur had four new cases each, Bikaner and Barmer had two new cases each and Jhunjhunu, Kota, Dausa and Jodhpur had one new case each, a state medical bulletin said.

So far, 3,804 people have recovered, while 2829 are active cases. Jaipur has recorded 82 casualties, followed by 17 in Jodhpur, 16 in Kota, seven in Nagaur,  five each in Ajmer and Pali, four each in Bharatpur, Chittorgarh and Sikar, three in Bikaner, two each in Alwar, Karauli, Jalore and Bhilwara, and one each in Churu,  Banswara, Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Sawaimadhopur and Tonk.
