He said the museum, housed in the iconic Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, instilled pride in every citizen by offering an “immersive experience of the country’s successful democratic journey and its socio-economic transformation since Independence”.

Prime Ministers’ Museum offers accounts of major pre-Independence events, prosperity of the country in the mid-18th century and the subsequent British legacy.

It also captures the making of the Constitution, the challenges faced, and milestones achieved during the tenures of 14 Prime Ministers — from Pt Jawaharlal Nehru till Dr Manmohan Singh.

Writing his comments in the visitors’ book, Naidu said, “The museum showcases and honours the diversity in our national leadership and thereby sends the message of inclusiveness, which is vital to a vibrant democracy like ours.”

He said the museum is a “magnificent memorial” which pays rich tributes to all the prime ministers of India since Independence by narrating stories of their contribution to the development of the nation over the last 75 years. The museum was inaugurated recently by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the ongoing ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ at Teen Murti Chowk here.
