New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday granted protection from arrest to AAP MP Sanjay Singh in connection with criminal cases lodged against him in Uttar Pradesh for alleged hate speech. Issuing notice to the UP government on his petition seeking quashing of cases, a Bench headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan said, “You (Singh) cannot divide society on lines of caste and religion.” TNS
