Reaching out to farmers, PM Modi tweets Tomar's letter in different languages

Reaching  out to agitating farmers on the three Agriculture Acts, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday shared Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar’s eight-page letter to farmers in nine different languages.

PM Modi shared the letter in Kannada, Odiya, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi and Bengali to connect with most non-BJP states.

Do read this letter penned by Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar to our hardworking farmer sisters and brothers. The letter elaborately explains aspects relating to the agricultural reforms and how they will benefit farmers, he said.

Farmers from many states, including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, are protesting against the laws on Delhi’s borders demanding a complete rollback of the three Acts. The Centre is hoping to achieve a breakthrough on the issue.
