Jaipur, February 13
Continuing his scathing attack on PM Narendra Modi over the farm laws on the second day of his visit to Rajasthan, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today alleged that thePM wanted to “hand over the entire agriculture business to his two friends”.
Gandhi addressed two farmers’ rallies at Roopangarh in Ajmer and Nagaur’s Makrana. At Rupangarh, he said 40 per cent people of the country were stakeholders in the farming business. “Modi wants to give this entire business to his two friends. This is the objective of the farm laws,” he claimed.
Wearing a Rajasthani turban, Rahul reached the rally site driving a tractor with CM Ashok Gehlot and state Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra accompanying him. He spoke while standing on a platform made of two tractor-trailers. Thee farmers sat or stood on tractor-trailers around the platform. — PTI
