Retired officers Khulbe, Sinha are Advisors to PM
New Delhi, February 21
Two former IAS officers of the 1983-batch, Bhaskar Khulbe and Amarjeet Sinha, were today appointed Advisers to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They have been appointed in the rank and scale of Secretary to the Government of India on contract for two years or until further orders, which ever is earlier, an Appointments Committee of Cabinet order said.
A West Bengal-cadre officer, Khulbe retired last September as Secretary in the PMO after a six-month extension. Sinha, from the Bihar cadre, retired last December as Secretary, Rural Development Ministry. TNS
