RMS 2022-23: 69.24 LMT wheat procured so far in 9 states

New Delhi, April 18

So far in Rabi marketing season 2022-23, the government has procured 69.24 LMT wheat in nine states, benefitting 5.86 Lakh farmers with MSP value of Rs 13,951.41 Crore.

The states include Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

According to the government data till April 17, 32,16,668 tonnes have been procured from Punjab , 27,76,496 tonnes from Haryana and 1,085 tonnes from Chandigarh (UT).
