Antigua and Barbuda prefers that fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi be repatriated directly from Dominica to India, claimed local media quoting minutes of a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Gaston Browne.

Media reports said “Choksi matter” was one of the items discussed during the meeting and the government was of the opinion that Choksi is now a “problem” of Dominica and if he came back to Antigua and Barbuda, “problem reverts” to it. — TNS
