With a UK court ruling in favour of Nirav Modi’s extradition, Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail authorities have kept a special cell ready to lodge him.

A jail official said once Nirav was brought to Mumbai, he would be kept in one of the three cells of barrack number 12. “Preparations for lodging Nirav in the jail have been completed and the prison cell is ready for him, whenever he is extradited,” he said.

Nirav is wanted in India in connection with the Punjab National Bank scam. — PTI
