Verdict on Rhea’s case transfer petition today
New Delhi, August 18
The Supreme Court on Wednesday will give verdict on Rhea Chakraborty’s plea for transfer of an FIR against her in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death from Patna to Mumbai.
Meanwhile, senior advocate Vikas Singh, representing the deceased actor’s father in the Supreme Court, said Rhea couldn’t give a certificate to herself with regard to alleged transfer of money from Sushant’s account. He was responding to a query on a statement issued by the Rhea’s legal team that there was no evidence against her with regard to money transfer.
Singh accused the Mumbai police of carelessly handling the case. He said the CBI was waiting for the SC’s verdict so that they get cooperation from the Mumbai police. — TNS
