New Delhi, April 29
The CBI custody of DHFL promoters Kapil and Dheeraj Wadhawan has been extended till May 1 by a Mumbai special court, agency officials said. The two brothers have been accused in a corruption case against former Yes Bank CEO Rana Kapoor.
They were arrested on April 26 from Mahabaleshwar, a hill station near Mumbai, nearly 50 days after they were booked in the multi-crore scam also involving Kapoor, the co-founder of Yes Bank.
Wadhwan brothers did not join the investigation since the CBI registered an FIR against them on March 7, the officials added.
