Yogi: Book protesting power staff

Lucknow, November 18

Taking a stern view of the 48-hour ‘work boycott’ by the employees of the UP Power Corporation Ltd, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today asked officials to lodge an FIR against them if need be.

The employees have sought return of their PF money which was invested in the tainted Dewan Housing Finance Ltd in an irregular manner.

UPPCL protesting employees have guaranteed that the units generating power will be exempted from the protest to prevent grid failure. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
