Hours after India carried out targeted airstrikes in Pakistan, former Army Chief Manoj Narvane on Wednesday issued a cryptic statement, "abhi picture baki hai" (the picture is still incomplete).

Narvane' post on X has drawn public attention, indicating that Operation Sindoor is not yet over.

In a bold and calculated move, India launched Operation Sindoor, a series of precision airstrikes targeting nine terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), in response to escalating cross-border terrorism and recent Pahalgam Terror Attack in which 26 civilians were killed.

The airstrikes were aimed to dismantle infrastructure linked to groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, believed to be responsible for orchestrating cross-border attacks .

The former Army chief's statement also suggests that the recent military action may be the beginning of a broader strategy to counter terrorism emanating from across the border.

His words echo sentiments from other defense experts who advocate for sustained pressure on Pakistan to dismantle terror networks operating within its territory.

Pakistan, however, has condemned the strikes as an "act of war," reporting civilian casualties and vowing retaliation.  The situation is currently tense between both India and Pakistan.
