Asees Chhina wins skeet bronze

Patiala, April 18

Asees Chhina of Punjabi University, Patiala, won bronze medal in the women’s skeet event at the All India Inter University Championships held at New Delhi last week. The championship was hosted by Manav Rachna University, Faridabad.

Asees shot 69 out of 75 targets to clinch the individual bronze medal. The gold medal was won by Areeba from Uttar Pradesh, while Ganemat of Chandigarh won silver medal. Besides, Asees won a bronze medal in the skeet mixed team event along with Sukhbir Singh. She also won a team bronze medal in the women’s trap team event. —
