Fatehgarh Sahib: The body of Balwinder Singh, a resident Roorki village, was found in the Bhakra Canal near Pasiana village. His son Harpreet Singh had filed a police complaint on August 19, claiming that his father was mentally ill and had left home on his motorcycle without informing anyone. Later, his bike was spotted on the banks of the canal. On Thursday, a diver informed him that an old man’s body was found floating in the canal near Pasiana village. The police handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
