Patiala: Davinder Kaur and Smana Khan, Class X students of Government High School, Duttal village in the Patran block of the district, secured second position in State Science Exhibition held at Government Senior Secondary School, Punjab Agriculture University. Science teacher Rajeev Kumar informed that the duo had made a project on the practical application of magnetic induction in daily life. “Despite hailing from a backward area, both the students have achieved success. This will boost their confidence. The two had earlier won the first position at the block and district-level competition,” said Rajeev Kumar, science teacher. — TNS
