Patiala, December 22
Sikh preacher Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale gave a miss to the sub-committee meeting conveyed by the Akal Takht at Gurdwara Dukhniwaran Sahib on Sunday.
The Akal Takht had received complaints from the Sikhs settled in India and abroad about twisting the Gurmat ideology by Dhadrianwale in his religious discourses.
The five-member committee said they had personally invited Dhadrianwale at Gurdwara Parmeshar Dwar Sahib at Sheikhupura village.
The members said only a dialogue can solve the controversial issue thus another meeting has been scheduled for January 5.
Dr Gurmat Singh, Bibi Prabhjot Kaur, Amarjeet Singh, Dr Paramveer Singh and Dr Chamkor Singh participated in the meeting.
