Drug peddler’s property razed in Banur

In another crackdown on drug peddlers, the Patiala police on Friday demolished an illegal encroachment set up by a known drug peddler in Banur, Mohali district. Patiala SSP Varun Sharma stated that they had received a complaint regarding drug peddler Mohan Singh Mogli, who had illegally constructed structures in Mohalla Sainiwala under the jurisdiction of Banur Police Station. “We provided police security to the Municipal Council of Banur to carry out the demolition work, as the peddler had four FIRs relating to drugs registered against him,” said the SSP.
