EWS reserved sites to be e-auctioned in Patiala
In accordance with the policy issued by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Government of Punjab, sites reserved for the economically weaker section (EWS) in urban estates of Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA) and Patiala Urban Planning And Development Authority (PDA) and in approved colonies, which have been transferred to the PDA, will be converted into residential, commercial and other types of plots. These plots will then be sold to the public through e-auction, as per the policy keeping view in the public interest.
In compliance with this policy, Manisha Rana, Chief Administrator, PDA, accompanied by officials from the technical and town planning wings, visited various EWS reserved sites, including those transferred by developers to the authority.
These include a residential colony California Estate (EWS area 3.311 acres), developed by M/s Metro Developers and Builders, Tricone City (EWS area 3.63 acres) and Tricone Enclave (EWS area 0.54 acres), developed by M/s Tricone Projects India Limited.
Besides, sites such as PUDA Enclave-1 (EWS area 2.95 acres), PUDA Enclave-2 (EWS area 2.03 acres) and Urban Estate, Phase-4 (EWS area 3.89 acres) were also inspected by officials.
“These sites are the most attractive sites of Patiala city built by the PDA which will give public a chance to own residential/commercial plots at affordable rates,” said Rana. —TNS
