Fire at ice cube unit in Fatehgarh Sahib

Fatehgarh Sahib, July 23

A fire broke out at an ice cube manufacturing factory in Sirhind town on Tuesday.

The machinery, two deep freezers and other goods were gutted in the incident.

It took fire engines from Sirhind two hours to extinguish the blaze.

Factory director Mahesh Kumar said the cause of the fire was believed to be a short circuit. He claimed to have suffered a loss of Rs 12-15 lakh in the incident.
