A free cancer screening and awareness camps will be organised across all districts of the Patiala range, including Sangrur, Barnala and Malerkotla as part pf Punjab Police's efforts to ensure public well-being, DIG Mandeep Singh Sidhu said today.

The camps will be organised by the World Cancer Care Charitable Society, headed by Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal.
A total of 696 police personnel and their family members were tested during one of the camp.

Sidhu while inaugurating the camp at the Police Lines, under the theme "Awareness is Empowerment" emphasized on the need for tests to ensure early detection cancer.
