Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, the AAP MLA from Sanour who has been on the run since September due to rape allegations, has surfaced again in a video wishing his nephew a happy birthday. The video, reportedly shot while he was travelling in a car, shows Pathanmajra extending hs warm wishes to his nephew, expressing his desire to reunite with him soon.
The Patiala police had registered a case against him on September 1 on charges of rape, cheating and criminal intimidation. The case was registered based on a complaint by a Zirakpur-based woman.
The AAP MLA's presence in South Australia's Adelaide came to light after he appeared in a video interview defending himself, claiming that he would return to India only after securing bail.
