The first day concluded with a historical play, “Sirhind Di Deewar”, which was based on the supreme sacrifice of the younger Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh, at the Harpal Tiwana Auditorium. Veteran actress Nirmal Rishi was the highlight on the stage. The play left the audience teary eyed.

At the nature walk, district officials stressed the importance of environmental responsibility and urged people to not only plant trees but also nurture them.
