A heritage walk highlighting the archive section and the historical importance of the Musafir Memorial Central State Library, Patiala, today brought together an energetic cross-section of the civil society. A highlight of the occasion was the unveiling of a cutting-edge digital resource: a virtual heritage walk specially designed for the library under the “iHeritage” initiative.

The walk conducted by the Patiala Foundation, that celebrated its 17th Foundation Day with an inspiring with participation by PCMS Association, Jagat Guru State Open University, Patiala, RGNUL Legal Aid Clinic, Thapar University students, Punjabi University and other educational institutions.

Chief guest Anindita Mitra, Administrative Secretary, Department of Higher Education and School Education, Government of Punjab, dedicated the resource for community use, noting, “Ravee Singh Ahluwalia, founder of Patiala Foundation, addressed the gathering, “Every step we take on this journey is a pledge for tomorrow, and each of our volunteers is a silent hero powering our progress. Our commitment is to continually update and ensure that our heritage is accessible, relevant, and inspiring for generations to come.”
