ICSE Class X results: Pahul, Tanmay, Pragun shine; top Patiala district with 98.8 per cent

Pahul Singh and Tanmay Goel of British Co-Ed High School and Pragun Saklani of Holy Angels School were joint toppers in the district in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X exams, the results of which were declared this evening. The trio scored 98.8% marks.

Meanwhile, Tanvi Garg of British Co-Ed High School and Manvi Gajrani of Holy Angels School grabbed second position in the district with 98.6% marks.

The third position was jointly shared by Amanpreet Singh Deo of Punjab Public School, Nabha, Arya Gupta of British Co-Ed High School and Gunmay Garg of Yadavindra Public School. The trio secured 98.2% marks.

Kaintal School students fetch high percentage

Students of Kaintal School continued their excellence in academics by achieving spectacular success in the ICSE results. Himanshi Gupta grabbed top position in the school by securing 98 per cent marks. Himanshi was closely followed by Sehajpreet Kaur (97.8%) and Gurpinder (97.6%). Principal Rajinder Kaur virk congratulated the students, teachers and parents.

Good show by PPS Nabha

The Punjab Public School, Nabha, has once again kept the school flag high by showing good result in the ICSE exams. Amanpreet Deo topped the school with 98.20% marks, Kanishk Goyal stood second with 97.60% and Surkhab Kaur and Shirin Randhawa shared third position with 97% marks. Headmaster DC Sharma complimented the staff, students and parents for the excellent result.

Yadavindrians excel

All YPS students have secured first class with the highest score of 98.2%. Around 41 per cent students scored above 90%, of which 18 students have scored more than 95% marks. “Results are satisfactory despite online classes. The students have really worked hard and I wish them good luck for their future,” said Maj Gen Sanjiv Varma, Director, YPS, Patiala. — TNS
